Screen Shot 2017-06-01 at 1.23.07 PM.pngAnother gorgeous morning at 15° (felt more like 20°) and sunny. My body’s been feeling consistently good the past few days after taking the proper recovery time after my runs – stretching, icing, and the foam roller. I feel like I’m getting in a good flow and my body has almost fully adjusted to the distances.

I made another smoothie for my pre-workout meal; Vega chocolate with banana, berries, and almond milk and two large coffees. I took a slightly different route and ran by the Mississauga Sailing Club to mix things up a bit. On my way back (about 18k in) down the Port Credit Waterfront Trail, I was attacked by yet another bird. This time, it swooped down and grabbed my back..horrifying.

End pace at 6’12k/9’59mi after 2 hours 12 minutes and 21 seconds.
