Screen Shot 2017-06-19 at 12.59.21 PM.pngThis morning’s run was another hot and humid one at 22° (felt more like 30°), but felt great to kick-off the 6th week of the #RUN70 Challenge. I ran the Waterfront trail in Port Credit again and took a little detour to avoid a bird nesting area.

My pre-workout meal was a protein smoothie with chocolate peanut butter whey isolate (with 5.4g of BCAAs), banana, almond milk, egg whites, and spinach, and 2 energy balls. I had pretty good energy, but started feeling hungry at the 18k mark. I stopped double the amount I usually do to drink water and after yesterday’s quick run, today’s was much slower. I finished my 4th book of the challenge Little Black Lies by Sharon Bolton and am going to switch it up a bit for tomorrow’s run and listen to a non-fictional book.

My pace was slow today at 6’13km/10’01mi after 2 hours 14 minutes and 51 seconds.
