I left the house early for a Sunday morning – I had to go to Oshawa today for an in-store demo; promoting Oneiric at one of our best stores, Crow’s Sports for their Goalie Weekend special. I try my best not to schedule meetings or events for mornings since I need to get my run in beforehand. It gives me more time to wake-up and mentally prepare for my runs. There were a few meetings this weekend that forced me to get out of bed really early – meetings in Waterloo on Friday and the demo on Sunday. My body felt good this morning, although my feet started to hurt. I can tell that I need to retire my second pair of runners and get my third pair for this challenge. Weather was hot and sunny at 18°, but had a bit of a cool breeze by the water.

My pre-workout meal was two energy balls and half a GNC brand protein shake (25g of protein). I wasn’t very hungry this morning and it was one of those days where I had to force myself to eat. I felt hungry around the 17k mark on my way back, but knew that if I would’ve eaten more beforehand, I would have been sick.

Super excited to tackle my 7th week of the challenge! 🙂

End pace was exactly the same as yesterday at 6’08km/9’52mi after 2 hours 11 minutes and 57 seconds.
