Weather was warm and sunny with a bit of a cool breeze by the water. Toronto’s June has been very unpredictable in terms of weather – we’ve had a lot of rain and cool weather with a few, very humid days. My pre-workout meal was a whey isolate protein smoothie and about 1/4 cup of Icelandic yogurt. I wasn’t very hungry this morning and had to force myself to eat – I didn’t eat enough and was starving around the turnaround point (10.6k) and felt my energy rapidly decline.
I finished my book, In The Blood by Lisa Unger and it was so good that I bought another one of her books which I also started yesterday called The Red Hunter.
End pace was slow again at 6’24km/10’18mi after 2 hours 17 minutes.
