I’ve been planning and writing out my day in my notebook the night before so when I wake up the next morning, I can make my coffee and get straight to work. For those that are curious, here’s a breakdown of what my days look like:
5:30am – 9:00am -read for 20-30 minutes, work on my major tasks for 3.5 – 4 hours.
9:30am – 12:00pm – resistance training for 15-20 minutes, then I’m out the door giving myself about 2.5 hours to complete the 21.1km run (including stopping for bathroom, water breaks, and the occasional stretch).
12:00-1:00pm – stretch, ice my knees, eat, shower, post my run on social media.
1:00-4:00pm – work on my major daily goals, tasks, and meetings (I always schedule meetings for the afternoon).
4:00-7:00pm – take a break, go for a walk, eat dinner, relax, do whatever.
8:00-9:30pm – clear out my inbox, tie any loose ends or finish any smaller tasks I wasn’t able to get to during the day, plan out my next day.
10:00pm – bed.
I started today’s run was earlier than usual, was out the door just after 7:00am and finished around 9:30am – weather was overcast and a bit cool at 17°. I paced faster than usual, my body was feeling good and I ran my longest run of this challenge so far at 21.65km. I managed to miss the rain and later saw that the forecast had changed and it didn’t end up raining at all.
End pace was great at 5’55km/9’31 mi after 2 hours 7 minutes and 56 seconds.
