Screen Shot 2017-06-04 at 4.26.06 PM.pngThe forecast this morning did not look good – rain and potential thunderstorms all morning until late afternoon in Port Credit. I started my run around 9:30am, it was raining for the first 8km or so then the skies started to clear up. When I started it was a bit cool around 12-13°, which was nice and refreshing.

I mixed up my pre-workout meal slightly by adding in some sweet potatoes- a Vega Chocolate smoothie with banana, spinach, almond milk, egg whites, peanut butter, and blueberries. I did 4 loops of Lakeshore to the highway to Hurontario (16km total) to mix things up a bit. The first few loops went by quickly, but the last two seemed really long and when I  finished I still had another 3km to go which always drags on the longest.

I finished my third audiobook of the challenge, The Doll Maker by Richard Montanari, which was a great, very suspenseful, and creepy book. At this rate, I go through a book (10-13 hours) a week.

End pace at 6’10km/9’55mi after 2 hours 11 minutes and 34 seconds.
