Screen Shot 2017-07-23 at 7.33.25 AM.pngI still have this lingering stomach virus, although this morning’s pains weren’t nearly as bad as yesterday. I was debating on whether I should go to the hospital afterwards – the pain subsided enough that I decided not to, but still might if it doesn’t go away in a week (or if the pain gets worst). Weather was a bit cooler and overcast, much better for running. To pass the time, I talked to my mom for about 3/4 of the run which really helped me get through it.

My pre-workout meal was a bit more hefty this morning after yesterday’s fuel left me starving pretty early on into my run. I had a bowl of steel cut oats mixed with almond milk, banana, raw almonds, and Vega Chocolate protein powder. It gave me pretty good, consistent energy throughout my run.

I can’t believe tomorrow is the last day or the challenge. I’ve been doing this run for so long now that it’s become part of my routine and life. I’m excited for day 70 and accomplishing this amazing goal, but also sad that it will be over.

Still paced slow, but better than yesterday at 6’28km/10’25mi after 2 hours 19 minutes and 18 seconds.
