I did a bit of resistance training on my legs yesterday to keep them strong (without overdoing it), but felt a bit stiff and sore on this morning’s run. I left around 8:00am and it was raining a bit, but cleared up within 15 minutes and was pretty sunny and hot at 18° after that.
I had another Vega smoothie for my pre-workout meal with blueberries, spinach, almond milk, and egg whites along with some leftover brisket + ribs from last night’s dinner – solid breakfast 🙃.
The trees were super lush running along the Waterfront trail in Port Credit and the air smelt amazing- you know that nature smell right after rain?
Today was my slowest run of the challenge so far at a pace of 6’33k/10’33mi after 2 hours 21 minutes and 40 seconds.
