Screen Shot 2017-06-17 at 9.18.28 AM.pngThis morning’s run was difficult – I felt really nauseas last night and without getting into too many details, was sick multiple times. I woke up feeling dizzy and really out of it. My calves felt tight the first few kilometres, but loosened up after the 6k mark.

It was really hot out this morning at 23° and sunny. I ran the Waterfront Trail in Port Credit again and witnessed another woman getting attacked by a bird then almost got attacked myself again. Really wanting this nesting season to be done so I don’t have to worry about getting my eyes pecked out haha.

My pre-workout meal was two energy balls made from dates, oats, peanut butter, chia seeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, protein powder and a Vega Vanilla protein smoothie with banana, almond milk, protein powder, and spinach. The energy balls have been really helping in keeping me full for the entire run! I’m almost in my 6th week and at the half way point this Sunday – then it’s all downhill from there.

End pace was great at 6’04km/9’46 mi after 2 hours 10 minutes and 38 seconds.
