I started my run late this morning and was out the door around 11:30am. The weather was hot and sunny at 22°. My body felt good and I had great energy. I started my sixth book of the challenge called In The Blood by Lisa Unger – it’s really good so far and kept my mind entertained so the time felt like it went by a lot faster.
I ran the Waterfront trail again – it was pretty busy with a ton of bikers and other runners. I started with the Lakeshore to Hurontario/QEW loop then ran about 1km past Marie Curtis Park in Etobicoke.
My pre-workout meal was two energy balls and a OhYeah! Nutritional shake that has 32g of protein. It was less food than usual, but I found that it kept me full throughout my run. Post-run, I had another shake with 25g of protein, 5g of creatine, and a bowl of Pho 🙂
End pace was decent at 6’08km/9’52mi after 2 hours 11 minutes and 55 seconds.
