This morning’s run was a great kick-off to week 7 of the#RUN70 Challenge! I can’t believe I passed the 40 day point – looking back, I thought my body would be in shambles by this point, but I’ve been incredibly lucky to have avoided injury and any long lasting soreness so far. The weather was cool with a bit of sun this morning at 16°- perfect running conditions. My legs and body felt good, although my feet were a bit sore still. I ordered a new pair of LunaRacer +3s and am waiting for them to arrive (hoping in the coming week).
I switched up my pre-workout meal and had a GNC Banana Cream pre-mixed protein smoothie (25g protein) a slice of leftover pizza made with a sweet potato crust and gluten-free flour, mushrooms, green peppers, feta, and homemade turkey sausage. Had good energy and didn’t get hungry at all during my run.
End pace was good at 6’04km/9’46mi after 2 hours 10 minutes and 25 seconds.
