This morning was Canada Day and I should’ve known better than to leave at 11:00am and run downtown by Toronto’s Harbour front. There were massive crowds and I found myself dodging people for most of the run. Luckily, the crowds died as I ran more west past the Toronto’s Music Garden. My legs felt really good today and feet weren’t sore at all so I took advantage by doing some fast splits (my fastest being 5’03).

Screen Shot 2017-07-02 at 8.09.47 AM.pngThe weather was really hot and humid at 22°, but a bit overcast. I thought it was supposed to rain so I wore a t-shirt and found myself sweating quite a bit. My pre-workout meal this morning was quite random (since I ran out of protein powder) – I had leftover homemade wings (a healthy version made from chicken breast)😉, some Icelandic yogurt, and a French Press of coffee with almond milk. Energy was good and consistent throughout.

I was really happy with today’s pace this far in the challenge at 5’41km/9’09mi after 2 hours 2 minutes and 17 seconds.
