I slept in a bit this morning and was out the door late (around 11:40am this morning) – since it was a holiday, the crowds were huge by the waterfront. Way bigger than Saturday and Sunday. I stuck to running the bike path to try and avoid the crowds. I was super excited to finish this run (another huge milestone) at day 50. Just like yesterday, I switched up my route a bit and looped from Riverside down the DVP trail then west to Parkdale. The weather was hot, but not too humid at 23°. The time felt like it past pretty quickly today – my legs and feet felt good and did some fast splits.

Here’s a recap of some major metrics at Day 50:

Distance: 1112km/691mi (26 marathons)
Calories: 76,121 (25 lbs of fat)
Time: 314 hours
Total money raised: $2,350/ $10,000

I’m embarrassed to write this, but my pre-workout meal was leftover Dominos pizza and chicken wings, and a Vanilla whey isolate protein smoothie with spinach and banana. I guess the carb and fat fuel was enough to get me a PB of this challenge!

Paced really good today at 5’20km/8’36mi after 1 hours 55 minutes and 4 seconds.
