Screen Shot 2017-07-15 at 11.05.10 AM.pngThis morning’s one was a great one – I was super excited to leave for Portland to break the world record and attend the much anticipated World Domination Summit. I listened to my Boston Marathon playlist to pump me up, which helped drive a sub-6’00 pace. Weather was cool, overcast, and perfect for running. This will also be my last run in Port Credit of the #RUN70 Challenge – the remaining runs will happen in Portland, OR and Toronto!

I ran early as I had a lot of things to get ready before leaving for my 6:00pm flight. My pre-workout meal was a vanilla whey isolate protein smoothie with banana, spinach, peanut butter, almond milk, and tied berries and two energy balls. I felt good, consistent energy throughout my run and mentally, this run felt faster than usual.

Only 2 more runs until I beat the world record! 🙂

Pace was good today at 5’32km/8’55mi after 2 hours and 7 seconds.

*Follow my journey as I run 70 half marathons consecutively on behalf of Oneiric to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Any donation big or small makes a huge difference. To Donate, visit our #RUN70 Canadian Cancer Donation Page.
