My body felt a bit sore, but wasn’t hurting too bad. My pre-run meal consisted of a Vega smoothie with almond, milk, egg whites, banana, and spinach (35g of protein) and 1/2 G2. I’m trying to up my protein intake to prevent muscle loss so ended with another protein smoothie and whey bar (40g total), post-run. Then ate 3 eggs and 2 pieces of multi-grain half an hour after.

I ran the waterfront trail again (which was really busy) and there was a food/art festival at HTO park. All I wanted to do is stop and eat an entire pizza to myself, but refrained….I also finished my 12 hour audiobook, I Let You Go by Clare Mackintosh, which was awesome.

My end pace was slow at 6’25k/10’20mi after 2 hours 16 minutes and 21 seconds.
