Screen Shot 2017-05-28 at 1.47.51 PM.pngToday’s run was awesome. The weather was beautiful at 15° and sunny and my legs felt good and strong.

I ate a bit too early before my run (usually I eat 10-15 minutes before), but this morning ate about an hour before which left me hungry around the 16k mark. My pre-run meal was the same as usual – a Vega smoothie with banana, cherries, spinach, egg whites, and almond milk plus a few handfuls of Ace Bakery crackers 😉

I was joined by a friend of mine, Meagan, who ran with me for the entire 21.1k – it was a really nice change to catch-up and chat instead of just listening solo to my audiobooks. The time and kilometres felt like they flew by quick.IMG_0721.JPG

Good end pace at 6’20k/10’12mi after 2 hours 15 minutes and 23 seconds.
