This morning’s run was the smoothest one so far (even though it’s only been 3 days). For my pre-workout meal this morning I went back to my classic pre-half/pre-full marathon breakfast; 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of egg whites, 1 piece of whole grain toast and 1/2 a G2 about half an hour before running. My body usually reacts well and allows for long lasting energy for the duration of the run. My legs felt strong for the entirety of the run and the weather could not have been better at 19° and sunny.
I started in the Distillery and ran west along the waterfront until I hit Roncesvalles/Parkdale then turned back around ending in the Distillery again.
End pace consistently slow with my first two runs at5’53k/9’28mi after 2 hours and 5 minutes.
