DAY 4 OF THE #RUN70 MILEAGE SERIES

Screen Shot 2017-05-18 at 2.20.06 PM.pngI’m so happy I did this run early enough to beat the crazy afternoon heat now at 30° as I write this. Felt pretty tired running this morning, but had my audiobook The Kind Worth Killing  by Peter Swanson to keep me entertained and relatively alert. My legs felt good for most of the run, but the last few kilometres were super slow and seemed like they were dragging on forever. I had a light pre-run breakfast; a Vega vanilla protein smoothie with almond milk, mixed berries, and spinach. Definitely not enough food, but was feeling a bit queasyey this morning and couldn’t handle much more then that.

I ran in Port Credit again along the beautiful Waterfront Trail to Marie Curtis Park then back – same route as Day 2 and probably going to be a very regular route for me during this challenge.

My slowest run so far with an end pace of 6’11k / 9’57mi after 2 hours 11 minutes and 52 seconds.
