Screen Shot 2017-05-19 at 10.19.44 AMThis morning’s run has been the best so far in this challenge (I know it’s still early). I started my run at around 7:50am this morning. It was a cool around 8° and got a bit warmer towards the end at 11° with light winds. Perfect running conditions.

I had the same pre-workout meal as yesterday – a vega smoothie with almond milk and blueberries and a vanilla power gel at the 11k mark. My legs felt good the entire run as I forced myself to keep a slow, steady pace to avoid any injury. I could have probably done a better time, but it’s too early in the challenge to push myself to go too hard.

I ran the same route as yesterday in Port Credit running along the Waterfront Trail and stopped in Marie Curtis park for a few minutes to enjoy the beautiful view of Toronto from afar.

I was happy with my final end page at 5’59k/9’37mi after 2 hours 9 minutes and twenty seconds. Screen Shot 2017-05-19 at 10.27.27 AM.png
