Screen Shot 2017-07-10 at 6.59.05 AM.pngTraditionally Sundays have been the hardest days to get out the door (typically my rest days), but after 8 weeks, I’ve finally adjusted mentally to the Sunday runs. I went to bed at around 10:00am on Saturday and felt fully rested and energized this morning. My sister wanted to run with me today, for part and is just getting back into it and could do about 6-8k. I ran the Lakeshore/Hurontario route and did a bit of a detour so by the time I met up with my sister before heading east, I was at about 10k. It was a nice change running with Alex and made the time go by a lot faster. She turned back 1.5k before I did then we met-up with about 3k left and ran the remainder together.

Weather was overcast, cool, and perfect for running at around 18-19°. My pre-workout meal was a vanilla whey isolate smoothie with peanut butter, spinach, Icelandic yogurt, banana and mixed berries and one energy ball. My body and legs felt really good again today (luckily) and I did a good stretch when I got home.

Really excited for my second last week of the challenge (week 9) and the biggest one yet – the record breaking week. I’m going to be in Portland for the World Domination Summit and will hopefully be running with some of the other attendees on Day 61.

Happy with today’s pace at 5’54km/9’30mi after 2 hours 7 minutes and 38 seconds.
