Another grey, depressing January day in the dead of winter, but luckily the temperature was just above 0°C in Toronto. My joints were super sore today and the run seemed very long and boring – couldn’t wait for it to end. I tried a different route which was nice and saw some beautiful swans hanging out in the ice covered water. Procrastinated this morning and am feeling a bit tired and burnt out. I had a pretty big breakfast which helped fuel my workout – a wrap with peanut butter, 2 eggs, a full French press of coffee, and a scoop of BCAAs mixed with a bit of protein powder. Going to ice my legs for a few hours and try to rest for tomorrow’s run. Hoping it will be a better day 😐
